Discover Science and Maths Award 2016

This year’s flag is Biodiversity. Biodiversity is about plants and animals and every living thing. We have a Biodiversity slogan made by a pupil in sixth class. It is:

“Plants and animals everywhere, protect them all and show we care! From the smallest insect to the tallest tree, they’re all important that’s BIODIVERSITY.”

We recently received our visit from Green Schools for the Biodiversity flag. We have had several competitions which involve biodiversity. We had a competition for bird houses and feeders. We now have many feeders and one birdhouse. We have a flower garden and a vegetable garden. We have many flower pots around our school. At the moment we have a building project going on. However we still are working on Biodiversity and we received our fifth Green Flag for Biodiversity on Fri April 22nd.
