Green School

The school has achieved its fourth Green Flag, the travel flag. Congratulations to the Green School Committee and Ms Molloy who succeeded in motivating our pupils to travel to school in a green friendly way over the past two years. These included walking, cycling, taking the bus, carpooling or parking and striding. Children who did so could partake in 'Wacky Wednesday' and 'Funky Feet Friday'! Children also earned homework passes by travelling to school in a greenway.

Each Friday the Golden Boot was awarded to the class who had the highest number of students travelling to school in a green friendly way that week.

An action day was held on Fri. 13th December. Students, parents and teachers gathered at Woodies, Laraghcon and Cherbury Park and walked to school.
