Scoil Mhuire GNS, Lucan

Michelle Lee teaches weekly Irish Dancing classes to students from First to Fourth. Their feis was held the week of June 13th. The Second Class girls danced the Two Hand Reel and the Jig. The First Classes performed the Ceilí and Marching Dance for their parents on Friday June 17th. Third Class performed the Three Hand Reel and the Light Jig while Fourth Class danced the Six Hand Reel and the Slip Jig. Individual and group medals were presented to children on the day. There were also prizes for most promising dancer at each class level and a junior and senior class award.

Awards are given for effort, responsibility, behaviour and courtesy during dancing class.
