' Hour of Code' ran from December 8th to 12th. It was a worldwide event with students in 57,000 classrooms learning their first hour of code during this week.

Nick Sheridan, from RTÉ News2Day, visited the school on Monday 8th of December. He spoke to the Sixth Class girls who are learning Scratch computer coding with Ms Bohan and Ms Mitchell after school. The report was also aired on the Nine O'Clock News on Dec. 8th.

To mark 'Hour of Code', Sixth Class students budded up with pupils in the junior classes to teach them basic coding skills. Fourth and Fifth Class engaged in an Hour of Code in their classrooms with their teacher.
