Active School Website

Our school Sports Day was held on Thurs. May 21st. This was the perfect start to Active School Week, which ran in the school from May 21st - 28th.

The winning class of this year's Sports Day was Ms Kelly's Fourth Class, with Ms Healy's Fifth Class coming second. There was a tie for third place between Ms Campion's First Class, Ms Lawlor's Third Class and Mrs Gavan's Sixth Class.

On the day students competed in many races including obstacle, egg and spoon, water, basketball dribbling and clothes races. Other events included shooting hoops, wellie throwing and penalty kicks.

Junior and Senior Infants held their own mini Sports Day, where they engaged in many activities including dance, parachute, egg and spoon, beanbag throwing, and sack races. The sun shone and a great day was had by all!
